Senior Director - Lead Generation - Cbeyond - Atlanta


Job description

Cbeyond is seeking a dynamic individual to lead its growing lead generation team. Cbeyond is placing a greater emphasis on programs and tools that can be leveraged to acquire, retain, and grow customers. Specifically, significant investment has been made on customer and prospect targeting for acquisition and retention. The successful individual in this role will bring a strong vision & strategy for demand generation, lead generation and marketing campaigns to drive revenue growth.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

Demand Generation

Strengthen the focus on acquisition through creation of leads for sales. Build specific lead generation programs and drive them through execution. Instill across all Cbeyond channels the use of marketing generated leads to capture new opportunities for sales.

Develop measurement tools and tracking methodology. Leverage campaign management tools to track effectiveness of leads through all channels, including online.

Manage lead generation sources including email, pay-per-click, and demand generation vendors.

Communicate with marketing and sales on an ongoing basis regarding new and nurtured lead performance results, current initiatives, and course corrections being taken.

Manage an internal team of marketing managers, business analysts, program managers, external vendors, and budget to accomplish team goals.

Analytics

Create targeting model based on prospect value and propensity to buy.

Understand response model and churn drivers based on LTV. Build contact strategy using test/learn/optimize methodology. Leverage database technologies to build a learning model for customers and prospects and how they grow in the base and market. Leverage acquisition channels and retention to drive voice of the customer into methodologies.

Required Skills

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required

Minimum 10 years prior experience in telecommunications and/or technology marketing communications
Proven track record in managing a marketing communications organization with 5+ people and + million budget
Experience managing external vendor relationships, particularly for marketing research and lead generation
Excellent interpersonal communication and writing skills
Proven strategic thinking and analytical skills
Demonstrated ability to influence across organizational boundaries
Strong negotiation and decision-making skills
Solid technical, industry and business knowledge
Bachelor's degree, MBA preferred
