Sales Planning Director - Houzz - Irvine


Job description
You will be a key member of and work closely with the senior sales leadership in support of Houzz’s sales channels.
Responsibilities include:
Assignment of accounts to Houzz’s Account Executives to prospect
Assignment of accounts to Houzz’s Account Managers to manage
Creation and administration of commission plans for multiple channels
Analysis of the North American market, our base of professionals, and past results to develop future channel and assignment strategies
Create and manage sales incentives
Lead a small team of analysts

Desired Skills and Experience
Current sales manager
3+ years of sales management experience in the B2B SMB sector
3+ years of top personal sales experience in the B2B SMB sector, advertising preferred
Experience managing and selling an Internet based product
Familiarity with online advertising options for SMB's
Solid knowledge of SEO, SEM, and other online advertising options
Impeccable verbal and written communication skills
You've hired, trained, coached, counseled, and performance managed sales reps
You've led a top performing team
You have a following of sales people
Deep understanding of the sales process, having sold and taught a consultative, yet deliberate sales approach
Strong platform training and one on one coaching skills
Excellent references from sales reps that have served under you, and senior leaders you have reported to.
Familiarity with CRM tools, i.e. SF.com
Fluid with Excel/MS Office or Google Docs
Start up experience a plus
Sales training background a plus
Telephone Sales experience a plus
Bachelors degree
