Job description

Purpose and Scope: The Retail Marketing Director supports the full-price Ralph Lauren stores. This individual will oversee all events, sponsorships, and partnerships for Ralph Lauren Stores- North America. The ideal candidate is someone with experience developing and executing event strategies for a retail business, with a strong focus on elevating the brand while driving incremental sales. The role requires experience in executing special events, strong networking skills, ability to work with dynamic groups of people internally and externally, excellent communication skills and strong ability to multitask.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute events for all Ralph Lauren Stores, i.e. grassroots, charitable shopping, top clients, trunk shows, pre-private shopping events, etc.
Manage donation requests for all Ralph Lauren Stores
Manage and develop the Marketing Events Team
Partner with Regional Directors and General Managers and on strategy and execution of market-specific retail events
Manage relationships with external committees, sponsors, organizations and mall management/marketing teams
Develop and nurture grassroots marketing/hotel programs and partnerships and track success of these programs, both from a revenue and customer acquisition standpoint.

Job Requirements:
Dedicated employee with a focus on building and executing strategies focused on the corporate strategies of the division
Strong working knowledge of the Ralph Lauren brands and the luxury market
Project management experience; proven track record of managing multiple tasks and priorities on a schedule
Prior business support experience; ability to manage budgets and meet ROI objectives
Team-player; support, rally and motivate team members and store associates, ability to work effectively within all areas of the organization
Must be able and willing to travel for events
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
5+ years experience in retail event marketing/communications, advertisement, PR
Bachelor's Degree
