Desired Skills and Experience
InComm is searching for a Director of Master Data Management in Atlanta, GA. The Director, Master Data Management will develop, drive and execute the strategic plan for master data management with the goal being to develop highly accurate, consistent, normalized and enriched information. In this role, the person will work with the business to gather business requirements and implement resulting information solutions that maximize the usage of master data (i.e. Parties, Products, Pricing, Locations, etc.).

These solutions will make available centralized repositories of data that are shared as much as possible across applications and business units for conducting business off of a single source. This enables business growth through improved data quality / completeness and simplified data management. This person will be responsible for the end-to-end solution design of MDM information capabilities to support financial planning and analysis, customer relations management, and supply chain.

Additionally, the Director, MDM is responsible for the design of the underlying MDM architecture and spearheading a governance program pertaining to master data, including the establishment and tracking of metrics on data quality.
Excellent verbal and written communications.

Experience leading broad master data technology initiatives.
Knowledgeable of master data management strategies and best practices.
Ability to build credibility and maintain organizational relationships with both business and IT.
Ability to build organizational respect and trust.
Business process design and management experience.
Strong management, mentoring and coaching skills.
Strong ability to apply analytical skills in dealing with issues that are not readily defined or that conflict with available information.
Strong attention to detail.
Background working with industry leading MDM tools with work experience in the high-tech industry a plus.
High School Diploma or Equivalent
