Director - Marketing-Biosimilar - Baxter Healthcare - Deerfield
Job description
The Director of Marketing will work closely with the VP, Commercial Head to develop and execute global marketing strategies to launch the Biosimilar Pipeline in the inflammation therapeutic area. This role will lead, develop and execute pre-launch/launchplanning process aimed at driving new value in the inflammation space. Responsibilities will include leading the branding process, developing the value proposition & pricing, developing messaging & communication platform, educational material development, competitive strategy, device strategy and agency/partner management. This will require close communication and coordination with global and country marketing counterparts and key global functions including health outcomes, R&D, medical affairs, manufacturing, operations, market research, & business analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop commercialization strategy for pipeline inflammation products
Lead the pre-launch/launch planning and marketing planning processes globally
Drive global growth through unmet needs research effort, branding, value proposition development, device development, pricing, developing messaging & communication platform, educational material development, and competitive strategy.
Direct and coordinate all activities of the inflammation marketing operation in accomplishing Global Biosimilar Franchise strategic and tactical objectives.
Recommend product development requirements based on findings of marketing research, or voice of customer feedback.
Develops strong strategic relationships with all cross functional partners including R&D, medical affairs, health outcomes, business analytics, country marketing.
Manage agency and partner relationships marketing, reimbursement and Government Affairs.
Minimum 10 to 12 years experience in life science industry. Including at least 8 to 10 years of management level marketing experience
Experience in auto-immune/inflammation therapeutic area strongly preferred
Global marketing experience and product launch experience preferred
Bachelor's degree in health sciences, business or related field, MBA preferred
Experience in generic small molecule market of interest
Excellent business acumen including broad knowledge, perspective and judgment on business decision making
Excellent communication, influencing, negotiation and collaboration skills
Requires strong people leadership, ability to drive results in matrixed organization, change management skills as well as excellent critical thinking & project management skills.
