Sales Development Director - Egnyte - Mountain View

JOB DESCRIPTION
The primary goal of Sales Development Director is to qualify and generate B2B leads for the sales team. This position is responsible for determining the strategy, direction of the team, and execution of lead generation and qualification process. This position will manage the callers’ lead queues, provide feedback on call notes/activities, drive lead conversion rates, ensure timely lead follow-up and build analytics on event effectiveness/ROI.
The position will report to VP of Demandgen and work closely with Marketing, Sales Operations & Sales team.

Responsibilities
Generate and qualify B2B leads for the sales team and meet targets on a monthly basis
Develop and oversee the execution of the outbound lead generation strategy to support the overall organizational objectives
Hire and train sales development reps, document processes, work flows to support sales growth
Audit conversations and call notes by reps to maximize effectiveness and ensure quality. Provide guidance and insight to drive continuous improvement.
Ensure qualified leads are being assigned correctly, and provide full visibility into the leads and follow-up by Sales/partners occurs in a timely manner.
Develop and execute a plan to drive unqualified leads to a qualified state
Maintain call guidelines and scripts.

Desired Skills and Experience
Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent experience.
5+ years of experience with Lead qualification/generation, outbound calling
Strong people, project management & communication skills
Experience in Salesforce.com and Marketo
Previous experience prospecting for an Enterprise SaaS or Digital Sales (quota carrying) is a plus
