Group Manager - Marketing BioSurgery - Baxter Healthcare - Deerfield

Job description

* Develop and execute commercial strategies and tactics for Baxter's hemostasis product line. Specifically, the GMM will support the director in the development of the strategy, direction, and opportunity assessment for Baxter's hemostasis products within targeted surgical specialties.

* Lead and develop communication strategy to include product messaging, publication planning, congress activity, and KOL development. Work with channel marketing and IDN team to drive activities to optimize contracting opportunities.

* Build hemostasis brand(s) including concept/category, positioning, verbal and visual elements and campaign development.

* Through market research, develop segmentation strategy to optimize resource allocation and sales force efficiency.

* Coordinate with global marketing, medical affairs, and R&D to assess clinical strategies to maximize long-term opportunities through new products and indications.

Desired Skills and Experience
The GMM will need to be able to effectively manage projects and work-cross functionally with finance, market analytics, global marketing, medical affairs, and regulatory.
Strong leadership, strategic thinking, creative problem solving are essential.
Understanding of the clinical indications related surgery products and procedures.
Strong background in assessing market trends, financial data, and customer needs to develop strategic plans to drive sales.
Ability to develop and execute communication plans, including messaging and branding campaigns.
Requires strong facilitation & communication skills as well as excellent organizational & project management skills.
Minimum 5-8 years in Biotech or pharmaceutical industry with four years of relevant marketing experience.
BA, BS with MBA preferred.
