Job description
•Manage development teams, assignment of personnel to tasks, tracking of progress and results
•Establish and drive project management for FW and interface to program/project management of overall system
•Set and establish quality metrics and methodology
•Interface with LSI customers, support their qualification of LSI products
•Oversee recruitment and personnel management

ADDITIONAL SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

-REQUIRED:
• 10 years of related experience
• Strong background knowledge of C / C++ programming on large scale projects
• Prior experience and oversight of the analysis and debug firmware and hardware problems
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Understanding of computer storage devices

Desired Skills and Experience
Bachelor or Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
15 + years’ experience.

• 15 + years of management experience in software or firmware
• Experience of storage, network or similar types of systems
• Experience of working with hardware design teams
• Experience with software project management

-DESIRED:
• 15 years of related experience
• Experience with ARM or Tensilica microprocessors
• Experience with storage device protocols such as SATA, SAS, or PCI-e
