Director of Strategic Sourcing
Kane Is Able (KANE; www.kaneisable.com), a leading third-party logistics (3PL) provider that helps consumer packaged goods (CPG) companies warehouse and distribute goods throughout the U.S. Kane is seeking a strategic sourcing leader and manager to oversee the business operations of this privately owned 3PL provider.

The Director of Strategic Sourcing is a strategic corporate role, where the candidate should possess strong analytical and process management skills that can be leveraged across business responsibilities including contract negotiation, purchasing, real estate procurement, risk management, new business integration and project management. In this role, the Director will report to the Chief Financial Officer. Candidate should have an entrepreneurial mindset, be able to work in a dynamic environment, and must be organized, determined, motivated and assertive to succeed in this fast paced environment.
The Director of Strategic Sourcing will direct business operations activities that improve operational efficiency within KANE Is Able through the following:

Ensure organization acquires services and goods at the highest available value (including quality, cost, and speed of execution). Ensure procurement decisions are coordinated, transparent and auditable. Develop and execute new business integration strategy. Identify and manage risks the organization faces through new business processes and insurance programs, leveraging organizational size and financial strength to achieve best in class “cost of risk”. Ensure all contracts are aligned with company standards and properly approved. Lead the sourcing of new real estate assets, ensure compliance with leases and manage relationships with landlords and real estate brokers.
Desired Skills and Experience
Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration and a minimum of eight (8) years’ experience in a business operations environment.
