Role Description:

The Director, Global Quality and Product Delivery for Zoetis Genetics will be responsible for ensuring successful product delivery through best in class quality sytems and information development processes. Accountable for the prioritized resource allocation decisions to deliver product implementation and execute on product delivery plans with a specific focus on information systems. Provide Quality oversight over the entire product workflow globally and maintains product quality standards throughout the product lifecycle. Drive initiatives to improve on quality and product delivery processes that result in higher sales, customer satisfaction, diminished costs, and increased profits. Establishes and leads a product and quality management organization. Consults with and advises Genetics leadership team and other colleageus to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective enterprise solutions for all aspects of the Zoetis Genetics organization.

Responsibilities:

The major duties will include but are not limited to:
Provides leadership and direction to drive the performance of colleagues in product management, information delivery, and global quality organization..
Partners with R&D, Technical, Sales, Marketing and Operations on the prioritization and implementation of product lifecyles, projects and information infrastructures including trade-off decisions, operational readiness, change preparation, change execution, and post-change QA validation.
Oversight of configuration, support and maintenance activities and resources for optimal operation of Information Systems in support of Product Delivery and Product Maintenance.
Ensures that applications meet business requirements, systems goals and fulfill end-user requirements. Identifies and leads resolution of systems issues. Manages user expectations, requirements, and develops / tracks metrics to ensure these are met.
Consults with and advises BT executive staff and decision makers in other departments to identify, recommend, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions for the commercial area.
Ensures the continuous improvement, rationalization and management of Quality processes, systems and operations. Drive validation and process deviation investigation and resolution as required.
Engages with all levels of management, internal and external stakeholder to support overall Product Delivery and Quality systems and certifications.
Willingness and ability to travel as required based on business needs

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Life Science, Business, Information Systems or related discipline.10+ years experience with the Life Sciences or related industry.
Experience in Product Management or Technology Transfer strongly preferred. Track record in leading resource allocation and prioritization decision making processes including driving team alignment of value vs. cost trade-offs. Strong business acumen
Exhibits drive for performance and a clearly demonstrated abilty to achieve results through others.
Senior level skills in program & project management, business process re-engineering, implementation of new business processes, organizational change management in regard to new system deployment, risk management.
Experience and/or demonstrated ability to manage onsite, near-site and global delivery vendors. .
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms as required. Proven ability to translate business requirements into solutions that map to technology capabilities.
Strong analytical problem-solving skills and interpersonal skills necessary to collaborate with existing subject matter experts, across many functions, and lead them as team members.
Demonstrated people leadership skills including leading high performing teams, defining and coaching for performance, and creating an engagement culture.
