Job description
SurveyMonkey’s mission is to help people make better decisions. As Director of Business Analytics, you will lead our internal team responsible for helping us make better decisions internally. An experienced manager, you will work with a talented team of Analysts to expand our Business Intelligence infrastructure, define key metrics, and identify key growth drivers.

As we refine and expand our Business Intelligence strategy, you will play a central role in defining new standards and establishing self-service tools to expand internal access to key data and basic reporting tools. As a senior thought-leader within the company with a passion for data-driven insights, you will collaborate with executive leadership and key cross-functional stakeholders to identify and optimize opportunities for growth.

Desired Skills and Experience
Education:
Bachelor degree in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or other equivalent quantitative coursework and/or applied experience. Masters degree or MBA a plus.

Special Skills:
7+ year of analytics experience, at least 3 as leader of a team of high-performing analysts
Experience defining and building a data warehouse and analytics infrastructure
Expert in SQL (knowledge of Python a plus)
Superb problem-solving skills with specific experience in SSRS, SSIS, SSAS, and SharePoint Microsoft applications
Excellent communicator with the ability to collaborate across levels, including executive leadership, to drive actionable insights from detailed analyses
