POSTION SUMMARY & KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY The primary objective of this strategic position is to lead a cross-functional team across business units to increase profitable revenue growth globally with the Wal-Mart account in Bentonville, Arkansas. This quota-carrying role includes solving business problems, executing winning sales strategies and developing long –term account relationships across multiple engagements. The individual must create a high-performing team in a matrix management environment where team members are motivated to perform at their fullest potential and creatively drive customer solutions and deliver exceptional customer service. As the Wal-Mart senior executive, the leader will have direct accountability for the Wal-Mart US solution revenue and annuity results, along with matrix responsibility for all other international regions (Canada, UK, Mexico, ASDA, etc.) with Wal-Mart locations. There is intensive involvement with the professional services team and the customer account during all stages of the project lifecycle, from the initial stages of preparing a proposal, to the final stages of ongoing support. Key Areas of Responsibility include: • Being a trusted advisor to our largest Retail customer. Single point of accountability focused on expanding and growing the partnership profitably and improving the customer experience. • Collaborate with customers enabling them to experience greater business value from our company. • Manage sales and business results in the account as if operating their own business, while acting in the best interest of the company at-large. This means continually growing volume while helping team members to solidify, elevate and nurture relationships within the account and all members of support groups internal to NCR. • Serve as a liaison between members of upper management, internal sales support associates and the sales team. This position has significant impact on the success of the Americas Region and the division as the top leadership role for NCR’s largest retail customer. • Manage the sales process and develop a strategic roadmap which aligns customer needs, issues, opportunities with industry best practices and our company’s offerings. • Lead, coach and develop 6-8 direct reports; Matrix management responsibility for total team size of 50+ NCR associates. • Reports directly to the Americas Vice President of Sales • Travel up to 75% or willing to relocate to Bentonville Arkansas • Must be successful at working on customer site and in a team environment

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related discipline • 10 years + of related business experience along with a proven track record of success in technology sales • Minimum 5 years managing high volume, complex accounts • In-depth experience and understanding of the retail market and related competition • A deep understanding of Retail and customer intimacy at the C-level • Experience in developing and executing solution sales strategies. • Ability to communicate the business value and/or ROI of proposed programs, strong financial selling skills • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including establishing credibility and trust with partners and building influential relationships with the stakeholders, including Finance, Legal, Sales Ops, HR, Support Services, Marketing and Professional Services • Ability to work and manage in a matrix management environment.
