• Partner with global HCIT region leaders, commercial operation teams, and regional COEs (where they exist) to improve global HCIT sales team efficiency and effectiveness
• Assist in regional commercial organizations with design and resource deployment based on domain knowledge across Healthcare IT or other IT organizations
• Leverage expertise in IT organizations with software solutions including cloud based and hosted solutions.
• Help design region specific variable compensation (VC) plans to incent sales performance, while being consistent with the Healthcare IT global product strategy and appropriate for regional markets
• Analyze and report quarterly on global VC plans, design and own HCIT dashboard
• Leverage the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) developed by the HCIT Commercial Council to create and manage a dashboard
on global sales management ability and development
• Cultivate partnerships with HCIT regional leaders and their teams to build consistent strategies for multi-modality projects and cross-P&L business events
• Develop and maintain critical relationships with Commercial GMs and finance teams to deliver orders performance to OP targets
• Develop metrics to measure progress to make tools more effective and to make the employees more efficient
• Identify opportunities to improve visibility, win-rate and share performance across HCIT P&L and regions
• Drive processes simplification and best practices
• Interfaces with HCIT and HCS marketing teams, Region GMs and Global product GMs, Global Commercial Excellence CoE team, Sales VC Plan Region Review Boards, HR, & Comp & Ben
Desired Skills and Experience

Qualifications/Requirements

1. Bachelor’s Degree and 8+ years’ experience in sales, management and or operations in an IT, software, or high-tech sector

2. Demonstrated ability to lead and influence a global team within a large, complex and matrixed organization

3. Ability to influence and collaborate with senior level management team

4. Experience leading or managing projects of various size, duration and scope

5. Ability to translate strategy into business objectives

6. Executive level presentation skills

7. Coaching and mentoring experience

8. Demonstrated written and oral communication skills

9. Reliable, responsive, strong analytic skills

10. Action and results oriented, with high level of initiative and resourcefulness

Desired Characteristics

1. Preferred location in Chicago, IL.

2. MBA or equivalent

3. Certified Lean expert, Black Belt or Master Black Belt

4. Knowledge and experience of large complex sales and marketing processes

5. IT domain knowledge

6. Initiative and self-confidence.
