Director - OEM Sales - VR Medical - Los Angeles


Job description

Reporting to the Vice President of North America, The Director of OEM Sales will be responsible for OEM sales and new business development within the U.S. and Canada. This will include all aspects of relationship building, account management and assistance with logistics coordination and receivables collection. Marketing responsibilities will include trade show activities, literature and website development in coordination with the Company’s marketing department.

This individual we are looking for will be experienced, of excellent character, trustworthy, thoughtful, an excellent communicator and driven for success. The right person will have a significant industry network of B-2-B contacts, and a track record of selling services to medical devices OEMs. We are looking for someone with the confidence, conviction and contacts to generate new engineering and manufacturing projects, of $1 million – $3 million potential, within the first 12 months.

This is much more than a senior sales opportunity. With proven results, we are looking for an individual with the breadth of experience and leadership capabilities to become the Business Unit Manager, with P&L responsibility, for the U.S. and North America. With proven results, this advancement can come within a 1 to 2 year timeframe.

Compensation including a generous base salary, open ended bonus potential, expenses and benefits, will be based on the person’s experience and compensation history.

Relocation is not necessary. The extent of travel will be based on the need to meet with customers, host visits to China and attend trade shows, including Medica Düsseldorf. The need will vary in frequency but this individual should plan on traveling 1 to 2 times per month.
