Director - Digital Strategy - Pace Communications - Greensboro


Job description
Pace, one of the largest content agencies in the country, is looking for a Director, Digital Strategy to join our rapidly growing digital practice in our Greensboro or New York office.

The Digital Strategist will be a key member of a team that leverages data-driven insights to develop and execute content-led digital, mobile, and social platform and engagement strategies for a progressive, Fortune 20 client.

On this account the Digital Strategy Director will be accountable for formulation of key strategic plans to attract highly qualified audiences to our client’s digital content programs, ensure their success, and partner with analytics, design, content, and development teams to drive continual optimization. This person will leverage expertise in a range of tactics, including social media, SEO, content curation and syndication, influencer engagement, and digital paid media.

This is a client-facing role with moderate travel required.

Desired Skills and Experience
Principal Accountabilities:
Develop implement digital strategies based on client’s business goals, objectives, and audience needs.
Design, build, and manage content syndication and curation programs for selected clients.
Oversee and execute traffic generation and engagement tactics, including content/platform automation, SEO, social media, paid media campaigns, and email marketing programs.
Partner with in-house and client analytics teams to define KPIs, tracking requirements and to create monthly Analytics & Insights reports.
Contribute to the development of the digital strategy practice at Pace and overall agency thought leadership through blog posts, whitepapers, internal training, and best practice development.
Represent Pace in client-facing meetings.

Job Qualifications:
8+ years of digital strategy, digital marketing, or related experience. Agency-side experience preferred.
Hands-on experience deploying direct marketing, eCommerce, SEO, and social media marketing efforts for established brands.
Credible fluency in related disciplines and tools such as content syndication, curation, marketing automation, etc.
Strong interest in and understanding of the principals of content marketing and content strategy.
Be a believer in, and practitioner of, data- and insights-driven strategic planning.
