Director - Business Development - Gracenote - San Francisco

The Director of Business Development is responsible for advancing new areas of growth for the company via identification, development and maintenance, of strategic partnerships related to Gracenote’s advertising business.
This role will also be tasked with identifying, evaluating and engaging new accounts as well as maintaining relationships with large key existing partners. Other responsibilities include competitive analysis, cost modeling and pitching.
Specific Tasks include:
Assessing new business opportunities, developing presentations and plans for Advertising category.
Identifying key account targets
Identifying inbound licensing and outbound partnerships
Assist in licensing negotiations with content owners and rights holders to support Gracenote product initiatives
Analyze new markets and create new business models
Conduct financial feasibility studies and develop proposals for new products and business opportunities
Work closely with sales and product management to determine content and technology requirements for future products, prepare and execute licensing strategies to support product features and timelines
Desired Skills and Experience
BA/BS required
Minimum 10 years of experience in business development and/or technology product management
Must have experience in Video, Mobile Advertising, Ad Network, or Broadcast Television space.
Must have a solid track record in analysis, content distribution, licensing
Must possess excellent communication skills with an ability to address business and technical audiences.
Solid understanding of web, mobile and database technologies.
Must be extremely proficient in PowerPoint presentation development
