Creative Director - Digital Evolution - New York City


Job description

Digital Evolution is a creative luxury production Studio. We are looking for a Creative Director in our New York office with strong conceptual skills and superior design sensibilities in CGI and production for all of leading global multi-brand accounts. As an integral part of our integrated production studio team, the Creative Director plays a significant role overseeing the entire creative process -- driving creative strategies and leading the definition, design and overall look and feel for integrated client projects. The Creative Director delivers the highest quality work, inspires and enhances the efforts of the team, and ensures that our creative product remains leading edge and ahead of our competition, and ultimately delivers powerful results for our clients.

Desired Skills and Experience

Responsibilities and requirements:

5-7 years as a creative director working in the CGI and pre-production and post production realm
Earn the trust of clients and motivate them to embrace today’s always-on new world technology.

Partner with the account management team to define the creative direction for the account.

Inspire account team to create and build experiences that speak to consumers and customers in their voice, based on their passions.

Think and work unbound by channel – especially in channels such as CGI, shoot production, animation, conceptual development.

Prioritize work and resources across multiple engagements as well as help provide proper workflow for each project

Draw colleagues together to share ideas fostering an environment of collaboration.

Listen, ask, hear, prioritize and translate client situations, marketing goals and information into strategic brand concepts, voice, messages and rationales.

Work with clients to define clear strategies for integrated programs and work with account team to ensure strategy is carried out from creation to execution.

Direct the creation of the campaign idea, build out the message platform and ensure the core idea is pulled through every element in a memorable and persuasive way.

Drive internal conceptual and creative development process for client presentations, core programs and new business pitches (net, new and organic).

Write and present cohesive and persuasive rationales for campaign approaches.

Direct, manage, build and mentor a staff of art directors, cgi artists, animators, compositors from concept to program execution.

Work with account teams to identify and respond to new business opportunities using new and innovative creative approaches.

Ensure that the creative function operates in an efficient, profitable manner.
