As part of the Deal Execution Team in Worldwide Licensing and Pricing, you will help support flawless execution across the multi-billion dollar Enterprise Volume Licensing business. As new products and offerings are launched through innovative business models, you will be on point for identifying and developing the processes to enable execution of these launches. You will interface with the BGs and field Licensing Specialist and Licensing Executive communities, and create and conduct training & communication materials for the field based on the processes you create. In addition, you will be responsible for leading one or more key initiatives to deliver future state end to end solutions and business capabilities with WWLP Programs, Product Licensing, marketing groups, and MSIT. Your role will require working with Programs and Software and Cloud Licensing teams to drive business requirements to automate solutions for the VL business. The role will require an understanding of Microsoft Volume Licensing offerings, business models, transactional processes and integration points with Finance, Compliance and Microsoft Operations.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
•Identify, design, document, and clearly communicate Volume Licensing execution process requirements across a wide range of audiences.
•Effectively lead/manage cross-functional “virtual” teams from project initiation through analysis and implementation, sometimes as part of a larger launch work stream.
•Make informed prioritization and trade-off decisions based on business needs relative to business impact, TTM, and resource constraints.
•Understand/identify and drive resolution on issues and effectively escalate where appropriate.
•Navigate through and be productive in an ambiguous, fast changing and complex environment to ensure stakeholder needs are met.
•Establish success metrics and measure/manage to constant improvement.
•Drive deal readiness and execution-specific impacts by coordinating and delivering training with field audiences.
•Communicate effectively with all levels of executive management and key stakeholders.
The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent organizational, planning, and communication skills with strategic thinking ability. The candidate must have a proven track record for delivering timely, quality and customer focused results. The candidate will need to communicate at many organizational levels, create effective cross-group relationships, and be able to simultaneously balance daily tasks with the long-term strategic “big-picture”. Enthusiasm for taking on big challenges, translating ambiguity into well formulated processes, and a desire to make a difference for the Volume Licensing business is needed.
A minimum of five years of demonstrated work experience in Volume Licensing and business process (including sales processes) management is required. Bachelor's degree required (MBA, Six Sigma Training a plus).
