Vice President - Network Strategy - Evolent Health - Washington


Job description
Evolent Health is looking for a Vice President, Network Strategy to lead provider contracting strategy and development, and to ensure health plans meet performance targets. We are looking for a results focused team member with a campaign mentality, a strong work ethic, integrity, who works well under little supervision, and who enjoys working for a collaborative, team-oriented system.

Responsibilities:
Lead development of network strategies for clients that are tailored to client objectives and market dynamics, in partnership with clients and colleagues, including the following:
Incentive structures that enable physician partners to migrate to shared savings and value-based care
Phased migration for a health system to assume full risk
Contracting strategy and negotiation terms
Network pricing models
Build and maintain collaborative relationships with local health system partners, establishing credibility with hospital and physician leadership and with the provider community in local markets
Oversee team responsible for network development , provider contracting and network operations (e.g., network data analysis for access requirements, credentialing, HSD table creation, provider file maintenance, development of policies and procedures, ancillary contracting)
Lead initiatives to support health plan performance and vendor oversight, building mechanisms to ensure accountability of matrixed partners to support clinical and quality initiatives required to meet performance targets
Establish vision and operationalize plans for innovation in network strategy, with new models for gain share, incentive plans and risk pools, and payer partnerships
Desired Skills and Experience
15+ years of experience in network strategy and operations, including leadership roles and experience in provider contracting
