Job description
The Director, Oncology Marketing is a member of the Sandoz Biopharmaceuticals US Commercial team and is responsible for commercial activities which will maximize the launch, net sales and market share of EP2006 (filgrastim) and LA-EP2006 (pegfilgrastim) for the US.
S/he will contribute to the development and execution of the overall US business plan for EP2006 and LA-EP2006, with specific responsibility for leading the development and execution of elements of the annual marketing plan. In addition the Director, Oncology Marketing will contribute to the development of specific customer level business plans in order to create profitable access and optimize sales and market share with key customers in the oncology market. Focus will be on establishing an early strategic entry point into the US market via these customers, and then driving sales and market share in order to maximize the opportunity.
The Director, Oncology Marketing will also be a member of the cross-functional US/Global launch team for EP2006 and LA-EP2006.
The Director, Oncology Marketing reports to the Executive Director, Marketing for Sandoz Biopharmaceuticals.
Desired Skills and Experience
Education :
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business or health-related field
• Advanced degree (e.g. MBA, MD, PharmD, etc.) preferred
Experience:
• Requires at least 8 years’ total work experience in pharma/biotech/medical device with a track record of progressing to more senior roles & responsibilities
• A minimum of 5 years previous experience in the oncology therapeutic area is required
• A minimum of 5 years previous marketing experience required; product launch experience (new product launch and/or significant line extension) preferred
• Direct sales experience in oncology and/or account management experience preferred, with experience in key account management for Oncology providers strongly preferred
• Experience in biologics preferred
