Director - Content Strategy - TIBCO Software - Palo Alto


Job description
The Director, Content Strategy will take overall ownership of strategy for formation and execution of content strategy for Web/digital projects that roll out across all TIBCO business units. Responsibilities include incorporating content from acquisitions, standardizing TIBCO's Web presence and managing changes to the various Web properties at the request of Marketing and TIBCO's business units. A successful Director, content strategy will tangibly improve TIBCO's digital presence and ensure that the processes and communication patterns are in place to ensure timely and accurate execution of the organization's content goals. This will involve managing resources effectively and working well with content owners both in Marketing and across TIBCO.

Specifically, the Director, Content Strategy will:
Manage TIBCO employees and contractors that support both technology and content for our websites/digital presence
Simultaneously oversee multiple development projects and keep the organization aware of timelines and any changes
Mentor and nurture the team members, helping them to grow their skillsets and guiding them in their carrier path
Deliver leading-edge Web applications that demonstrate TIBCO's innovative style
Monitor Web best practices and compliance with software development processes
Continually improve TIBCO's web presence as trends and technologies change
Maintain continuous communication with key stakeholders, cross-functional and technical teams throughout development and testing to ensure websites are successful in delivering to key metrics
Oversee planning meetings, approve requirements and estimates as part of preparing and supporting the budget for TIBCO Web projects
Oversee resource allocation, tasks progress, and dependencies across teams and functions

Desired Skills and Experience
QUALIFICATIONS

•Degree in Computer Science, IT, or relevant disciplines
•Demonstrated experience in leading enterprise content/web strategy and development
•Experience working with content creators, Web developers and in Web administration and optimization
Experience in SDLC, engineering tools, continuous build and testing, deployment and release management processes, incident management
Communication skills that span both technology and marketing tools and techniques
An ability to get things done regardless of organizational functions and challenges and across diverse groups of coworkers
