And it just so happens we're looking for a new Human Resources Director, Workforce Administration.

As the Director of Workforce Administration, you will be responsible for not only building a team of professionals responsible for selecting, delivering and implementing a new HRMS (HR Management System) but also become the evangelist responsible for driving more rigor around the use of HR data and metrics to make human resources business decisions globally. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the employee, candidate and contingent labor data globally for Best Buy. The team you establish will be responsible for creating global data strategies, standards and governance which align with business objectives and corporate goals. As a result, you will need to have the ability to work across geographies and brands, understanding both global and local requirements and implications of proposed policies and systems.

Additionally, you will oversee the maintenance of internal data, the development of standards and custom reports to meet the company's management and staff needs. Partnering with cross-functional team in HR, IT, Legal and Operations you will also ensure that all information is protected, interpreted, analyzed and reported according to Best Buy's data governance protocols, policies and standards.

Essential Functions:

- Defines and establishes data quality standards and operating procedures for employee information processed/validated as a centralized service.
- Partners with HR Centers of Excellence (HR CoE) to administer regular programs such as payroll, merit increases, STI, LTI etc.
- Ensures all data transactions both internal and external are processed using established standards and controls, maintaining quality and confidentiality.
- Leads and manages their team, including direct reports and extended staff.
Desired Skills & Experience

Basic Qualifications:

- Highschool diploma or equivalent

- 7 or more years experience in confidential data management, privacy or data quality environment

- 5 or more years managing people and teams directly

- 3 or more years project management experience

- Demonstrated previous experience with vendor selection, RFI (Request for Information) and RFP (Request for Proposal) processes

- Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams to deliver on established goals and timelines


Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with an emphasis on IT, HR, Business or similar

- Master's degree

- 5 or more years HRIS experience in a global capacity and/or HR operations experience

- 5 or more years operating in a HRIS Shared Services environment

- 5 or more years leading large global HR related projects and initiatives

- 3 or more years managing a virtual or remote group of employees/contractors/consultants
