Executive Director - Business Analytics & HR Systems - Paramount Pictures - Los Angeles


Job Description

This job is focused on creating the human resource business intelligence and analytic strategy for Paramount Pictures and leading, building and piloting business analytical solutions for the organization. This job provides strategic internal consulting services and analytical and technical expertise to HR colleagues across business units to execute projects, standard reports and statistical models designed to advance the state of decision-making within Paramount Human Resources. Additionally, this position will develop the strategy of systems necessary to deliver these business analytics.
 
Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:
• Develop scorecards, dynamic dashboards, charts and graphs to provide quick and concise data intelligence Strategically direct and coordinate the business definition, analysis and application of human resources data/analytics/information for the organization
• Manage workforce information driving smart decisions in support of short- and long-term organizational goals
• Provide critical insight into how to best leverage people
• Deliver data to assist with strategic decision-making supported by concrete metrics and data
• Analyze historical trends to predict future behavior or trends
• Identify opportunities to improve service effectiveness HR colleagues and Business Partners
• Develop and lead frequent data reporting and trend meetings with HR Team provide recommendations/solutions to emerging risks or opportunities
• Manage a team of 6 and coach in the development of data collection and record keeping to analytics around workforce behavior and reporting.

Desired Skills & Experience

* Industrial/Organizational Psychology or other analytical field with 7-10 years of directly relevant experience.
* Experience in HR analytics, HR metrics, business intelligence (BI), balanced scorecard methodology, statistical reporting and broad problem solving skills required
*Previous experience managing HR Systems and data collection

Desired skills:
*Bachelor's degree preferably in mathematics, statistics or finance
* Demonstrated expertise in statistical software preferred
*Strong applied mathematical, statistical, and analytical skills to interpret descriptive and inferential statistics is required
* Strong analytical thinking skills with the ability to put data and information together to understand trends, recommend solutions to close gaps and begin the process of building predictive capabilities.
* Experience in applying business analytics in one or more business domains (Human Resources) preferred.
* Strong written and oral communication skills, strong facilitation skills, strong project management skills, high business acumen, strategic and systems thinking skills, flexibility, and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects/tasks.
* Skilled in communicating with business stakeholders, both verbally and in writing
* Capable of communicating complex analytical information to HR and business audiences
* Ability to work independently and in collaboration to achieve goals
* Strong leadership and influencing skills required.
*Creative in adapting to changes in direction and be able to move around barriers
*Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
