SUMMARY
Partner with Operations, Finance, and Forecasting teams to ensure accurate reporting and best practices
Responsible for all aspects of financial reporting
Work closely with corporate staff and segment / business unit controllers to support and advise on all accounting and finance issues
Involve in quarterly and annual SEC reporting; support with the preparation / filing of the quarterly 10-Qs and annual 10-K
Interact closely with FP&A / financial planning and analysis (acquisitions, operations)
Manage the month-end accounting close process
Responsible for accounting - for a portfolio of companies subsidiaries
Special projects: research technical accounting issues (new developments from the SEC and FASB)
Strong knowledge of internal controls, process improvement, and audit function
Investigate / report on potential internal control failures / weaknesses; make appropriate recommendations for improvements
Responsible for streamlining and for strengthening internal controls
Work with the Director of Internal Audit and external Big 4 Audit Manager
Desired Skills & Experience
BBA, BS in Accounting or Finance / MBA highly preferred
CPA
Public Accounting or Big 4 Experience
