ROBOTICS Executive Needed for UnManned Vehicles R&D Lab Lockheed Martin - Littleton


Job Description
We, that is Lockheed Martin, are seeking top tier robotics professional who holds an active clearance, or who is able to obtain a clearance, and who is an accomplished robotics research scientist with solid business experience in robotics, un-manned ground vehicles; robotic systems, robotic convoy vehicles, robot perception, computer visualization, computer science and robotics to lead our AUTONOMOUS SYSTEMS - Unmanned Ground Vehicles Research and Development Laboratory in Littleton, Colorado.

Autonomous Systems Research Lab is the former Perceptek group purchased by LM three years ago and lead by James Lowrie. When Jim joined Lockheed his Perceptek colleagues Dr. William Klarquist, Mr. Mark Rosenblum, Mr. Steve van Hooser and Dr. Mark Allmen also joined Lockheed Martin all as part of the Autonomous Systems. They are a well-respected, nationally known robotics R&D group in the area of robotics unmanned systems perception, visualization and autonomy. Most notably, they are the developer of the Convoy Active Safety Technology (CAST) system for unmanned operation of convoy vehicles. Their customers include most of the Government R&D groups involved with autonomous systems, e.g. AATD, DARPA, TARDEC, etc.
