Job Description
We are currently looking to hire a VP, Director of Channel Insights to work in our Los Angeles office.
The position will work with a high performance, cross functional LA based teams to leverage the full suite of channel planning/media analytics tools. The position is expected to address a variety of client issues pertaining to optimal marketing mix, spending efficiency, channel valuation and insights, channel usage & relevancy (as they pertain to the consumer), weight/impression distribution, client proprietary research/brand studies. The VP, Director of Channel Insights will work closely with the Chief of Analytics in NYC and other members of the NYC based team. The position is expected to provide a broad view of current trends within the channel planning space, keep abreast of/advise team as to advancements in channel planning tools and advise as to further developing our arsenal of tools.
Desired Candidate Experience Base
Managed Research/Insights/Analytics function and proprietary tool development at a large media agency Expertise in/experience with Market Mix Modeling/Econometric modeling
Background in media/channel planning
Proficient/well versed in working with/understanding a variety of media research software and data: Nielsen Media Research (Galaxy, AdViews, NPower, AdRelevance), MRI, IMS, Scarborough, Simmons, Pointlogic, Kantar, Claritas, Comscore, Arbitron, etc.
Desired Skills & Experience
Required Skill Set
10+ years of experience and entrepreneurial drive
7+ years of management experience
Broad background , exposure to and experience in the Research, Planning and Implementation processes
Knowledgeable about Research methods and data from both client, agency and industry sources
Knowledgeable about new and emerging research and data technologies
Easy familiarity with econometric modeling to Insights to communications planning
Proactive in Industry initiatives, issues and forums
