Director of People Operations / HR Polyvore - Mountain View

About this Job
As Polyvore’s Director of People Operations, you will continually grow a team of talent, find ways to focus and best utilize their energy, and inspire the culture that binds them. You will be responsible for the company’s HR and office operations. You will report directly to the CEO and own People Operations with minimal guidance.
Responsibilities
Lead recruiting efforts to attract the most talented people
Build processes to manage, reward, and grow great people
Preserve, build, and inspire Polyvore’s culture
Continually assess team needs and implement high impact solutions
Preemptively establish processes to allow scale from 25+ staff to 100+ and beyond
Keep watch on organizational effectiveness and provide guidance
Serve as trusted advisor to both CEO and other senior leaders as the expert on people and organizational issues
About You
You are the pulse of an organization. People are drawn to your energy and excitement and stay close for your wit and wisdom. You’re metrics driven but would never forsake company values for efficiencies. You can spot talent from 1000 paces and feel deep, down honest joy when you see that talent develop. You’re (compulsively) organized and quickly notice when a process hasn’t been setup perfectly. If a problem arises, you know the system so well that you intuitively know how to fix it and prevent it from ever happening again. You're excited to join a team where you can make a huge impact. Requirements
10+ years experience in Human Resources in a high growth, fast changing environment.
Proven ability to scale a company’s talent while preserving culture
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
Experience at a startup a major plus
Bachelor’s degree required.
Master’s degree preferred.
