Job Summary
Logitech is currently looking for a Sr. Software Engineer (iOS) to join our Digital Home business unit. She/he will be responsible for excellence in architecture, design, and code craftsmanship in building iOS based solutions. This individual will be a leader in development practices such as test driven design, automated acceptance testing and continuous integration. She/he thrives in an environment of high energy, leading-edge technologies, and complex multi-disciplinary projects.
Technical Requirements:
- Proven history of architecting, designing and developing iOS applications, business services and data services which are maintainable, high-performance, testable, scalable and secure.
- Deep knowledge of architectural and design patterns.
- 5+ years development with iPhone OS, Cocoa Touch, XCode and Objective-C
- 5+ years experience in application development.
- 5+ years experience with OO languages Java, C# and C++.
- Good design sense: visual design, typography
- Experience in building great UI’s and User experiences.
- Experience building applications that take advantage of the different handsets.
- Extremely adept at test driven design and development. Experience with UML an asset.
- Experience participating in Agile/XP teams using the SCRUM process.
- Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent.
Nice to have:
- Experience with programming on Blackberry platforms
- Experience with Flash and specifically FlashLite
- Experience using Flash Player 10 on Android
- Experience with scripting languages
- Experience with push notification (Bounjour, XMPP)
- Experience with OpenID
- Experience with embedded systems development
