Hydraulic Engineering Director General Compression - Newton


Job Description

Able to perform the evaluation and analysis of problems in fluid machinery and the associated plant systems.
Design hydraulic control and power circuits, use simulation and analysis tools or run models of fluid handling machinery and piping systems to identify behaviors, responses to inputs, performance values and changes with operating conditions.
Perform hydrodynamic and control system analyses of complex dynamic systems, and couple heat transfer with fluid dynamic interactions.
Assist in the development of software and diagnostic tools to enhance data collection and analysis, system modeling, problem solving, and the design of improved fluid control systems.
Independently write technical reports, proposals and technical presentations.
Design hydraulic components and systems.
Development of ideas and schematics to allow assessment and analysis to be undertaken.

Desired Skills & Experience

Design and analysis of hydraulic control systems.
Design of scientific or research devices incorporating hydraulic actuation and control.
3D modeling (Solid works or Autodesk Inventor).
The design of fabricated components, experience with the design of very large hydraulic control valves and flows.
FEA analysis (Pro-Mechanica or Autodesk Algor).
Matlab/Simulink experience is beneficial.
Design of hydraulic pumps and motors.
Use of control systems analysis and simulation software.

Qualifications:

8 plus years experience is required
BS Mechanical Engineering / MS Mechanical Engineering
