Human Resources Manager Job PepsiCo - Foothill Ranch

The Sales Operations Human Resource Manager provides HR Generalist support to the SoCal Region. The position will be based in the Foothill Ranch office. You will serve as an employee advocate, functional expert, change agent, and business partner. By being a business partner, you will successfully match the right solutions, ideas, skills and people with the needs of the business.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:




  • Support and guide the Regional Operations Manager, Team Leaders and Team Members regarding Company policies, HR programs (benefits, pay and salary) administration and interpretation to ensure policies and procedures are handled consistently and in a timely manner
  • Must accurately diagnose organization issues, develop solutions and implement action plans
  • Must ensure activities are in compliance with all state and federal employment laws and regulations (e.g., FMLA, ADA, EEO and FLSA)
  • Assists leadership in managing performance and developing succession plans
  • Support the West BU HR VP with projects
  • Ability to understand the business operations from both a strategic and tactical perspective
  • Design and execute staffing strategies for exempt/non-exempt hiring needs (including campus recruiting)
  • Must be a confident communicator, (including both written and verbal) and able to effectively present to all levels of the organization
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects with overlapping tasks and work independently with minimal supervision


Qualifications:




  • B.S. Degree in Human Resources or Labor Relations required. M.S. degree` in Human Resources or Labor Relations preferred.
  • 4-8 years of Human Resource generalist experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
  • Must have experience supporting a front line organization
  • Change management expertise, specifically managing change within a large organization
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to influence the decision making process
  • Experience designing and executing well thought out staffing plans, including sourcing, interviewing and on boarding
  • Ability and willingness to be geographically mobile as your career progresses within the organization
  • Willingness to work flexible hours as necessary
  • Position requires travel within the South BU region and occasional travel for divisional and national HR meetings
  • Labor Relations and Collective Bargaining experience a strong plus
  • Must be willing and able to travel 15-20% of the time
