Job Description

POSITION PURPOSE:
Manage a team responsible for all marketing, communication and advertising activities that support US Airways, Dividend Miles, and US Airways Vacations. Responsible for generating ancillary advertising revenue and the acquisition and management of co-operative marketing funds from third parties. Manage the US Airways, Dividend Miles, and US Airways Vacations brands across all customer and employee touch points.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage a team responsible for the following activities:
- Develop and execute marketing plans to support airline, US Airways Vacations, and Dividend Miles products, services, and partners (channels include online, e-mail, direct mail, in-flight, airport, magazine, television, radio and outdoor)
- Manage all aspects of e-mail marketing campaigns for the airline, Dividend Miles, and US Airways Vacations (including creative, segmentation and execution)
- Negotiate, manage, and review online banner advertising and keyword buy agreements
- Manage a team who sells advertising space to third parties and co-operative marketing partners in all company online and offline channels
- Work with Corporate Communications to promote all products through editorial channels
- Develop, manage, and consistently execute the US Airways, Dividend Miles, and US Airways Vacations brands
- Maximize advertising and co-operative marketing revenue, while minimizing marketing expenses
- Build marketing relationships with third parties to enhance and/or extend the US Airways brand in a cost-effective manner
