Facebook is seeking a strategic, analytical, and process oriented Partnerships Operations Director who can partner effectively with our Audience Network and Games organizations. The Audience Network team at Facebook helps our global partners drive monetization through our ad network. Our Games team helps game developers and streamers around the globe make the most out of the tools and services offered by Facebook to grow their businesses.
The Partnerships Operations Director will manage a team of at least 4 sales ops team members while working cross-functionally with several groups at Facebook (including partnerships, finance, business operations, and analysts). The objective of this role is to grow the partnerships operations function for Audience Network and Games. This includes building a team that is effectively structured to provide support across the various parts of the Audience Network and Games teams and delivering against 3 core functions: 1) Core operations (e.g. planning, metrics, and rhythm of business 2) Strategic initiatives to improve efficiency 3) Organizational enablement through reporting and tools. Sample projects include sizing a new business opportunity, driving organizational design conversation, and establishing KPIs for the organization.
The ideal leader is familiar with the online technology industry and has a proven record of driving strategic business decisions by using clear frameworks, deploying excellent communication tactics, and producing deep analyses as the foundation upon which recommendations are built. Additionally, this leader must be passionate about Facebook and be an inspiring leader/manager who can quickly build relationships with people of varying personality types. This is a full-time position and is located in our Menlo Park office.
Responsibilities
Strategic Planning:
Support partnerships teams on medium/long-term planning including business potential, resourcing and org design
Identify, scope and drive critical projects and initiatives for partnerships teams, partnering with cross-functional teams across the organization
Operations and Analytics:
Project manage improvements to partnerships team processes to drive higher efficiencies using a data-driven approach
Lead analysis on business performance to drive operational changes
Familiarity with basic statistical analysis and modeling required to help assess marketing science effectiveness
Drive operational reviews and rhythm of the business, leading business analysis including revenue, customer and market analysis
Management:
Build and manage a high performing partnerships operations team
Partner with executive management on key business and operational activities
Develop strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholders across the company and represent the function in cross-functional teams
Minimum Qualifications
BA/BS
16+ years of work experience in Management Strategy Consulting or Sales Planning & Operations, or 14+ years experience with MBA/Master's degree
