The Enterprise Networking Business (ENB) Team is looking for a Director of Technical Marketing to lead a team of subject matter expert leaders and technical marketing engineers. You will lead the Technical Marketing Engineering team responsible for our SDWAN Solutions and Routing Platforms, This Platform and Solution portfiolio sits at the heart of a revolutionary change that Cisco is bringing to Enterprise networks and more specifically to the Enterprise Wide Area Network. The main stakeholders that this leader will work with include the Product Management Executive team, Product Engineering, Sales and our key Partners and Customers. You will work in collaboration with other functions such as Marketing, Sales Enablement, Finance, and the Competitive Intelligence groups.

The Director of Technical Marketing for SDWAN and Routing will lead a worldwide distributed group of Senior Technical Leads and Technical Marketing Engineers that focus on the Enterprise and Managed Service Proivider markets. You will serve as the interface of the group to stakeholders. In this role, you will work with your engineering counterparts to lead technical strategy for evolving the platform and solution set, lead and direct the enablement of the sales organization to drive success in SDWAN and Routing platform depoloyments, and partner with the product management leaders to help drive opportunities to grow our business and market share. Activities that you will drive and lead can include: defining technical strategy, drive technical sales enablement, build out large scale demos, run proof of concept and early field trials.

What You'll Do
You will develop deep knowledge of the SDWAN and Routing platform portfolio to drive continued evolution and differentiation of our technology portfolio to increase market share and revenue growth for Cisco.

Key Responsibilities:
.Drive Technical Strategy for our SDWAN and Routing platform portfolio
.Partner with the Product Management executive team to drive market shares and revenue growth for the entire WAN portfolio
.Develop and grow the TME teams technical and marketing capabilities
.Drive development and creation of highly impactful technical collateral to enable our sales engineers and partners
.Serve as escalation point for field escalations
.Track to identify product gaps, competitive differentiation, and link the outputs to marketing collateral and engineering developments
.Partner with engineering leaders to drive evolution of the WAN solution and product set
.Lead and drive technical enablement for sales, product management, and engineering.

Who You Are
•10+ years of technical expertise in WAN technologies with a comprehensive understanding of the enterprise networking space
.8+ years as an experienced leader of a team of senior technical subject matter experts
.Experience in leading large scale teams
.Someone who is passionate about technology
.Has experience in designing and implementing large scale enterprise networks
.Deep technical acumen who can stand in for any member of their team to deliver demos or present technical updates
.Experienced communicator who can translate complex technology concepts into something simple to consume
.Has a proven track record of public speaking at large events
.Clear understanding of the competitive landscape and inflection points of the enterprise networking industry
.Demonstrable understanding of design/implementation best practices in Enterprise WAN networks
