Apple is seeking a highly motivated and experienced finance professional to lead the financial support for the multi-billion dollar annual Capex global real estate and development business. A successful candidate will have experience in business partnership and building/developing/managing high performing teams.
~12+ years of progressive Finance/Accounting experience, including managing people with coaching and developing people and creating a high performing team and culture
Highly motivated, hands on business controller that is detailed-oriented, meticulous and possesses a high level of business acumen with natural curiosity and drive to identify ways to challenge the business to be more effective over time
Strong communication (written and oral) and critical thinking skills
Experience implementing and driving metrics tracking and reporting automation projects/initiative to synthesize large amounts of data into a meaningful summary
Excellent analytical skills with a proven ability to develop analytical vision and convincingly persuade senior leaders using sound financial evidence to support change
Description
Areas of financial support include:
Global expansion of the real estate footprint in support of Apple’s growth within the US and Internationally: new capital investments projects and on-going operational execution
Global expansion of Data Center in support of both the Apple Services business and internal infrastructure growth requirements by working closely IS&S and IS&T
Global energy and recycling in support of 100% renewable energy
On-going projects support including Apple Park completion, day-2 capital investments, and driving on-going operational efficiencies
Cafe Mac expansion and driving operational efficiencies
Developing scalable business and financial metrics reporting and forecasting capabilities to enable effective decision making and Capex/Opex spending
Communicating effectively with cross functional business clients the cause and effect of the real estate allocation charges to ensure it’s driving the right behavior and decisions
Education
BA in Accounting or Finance
CPA and/or MBA preferred
