What You'll Do:
" Lead global engineering teams that deliver Software Solutions for UCTG for some of their flagship products
" Work in a global cross functional team interfacing with Software, Hardware Engineering, Product Management & Customer Teams to orchestrate win-win outcomes for the business.
" Work with our partners to solve challenges that we work on together.
" Lead transformational actions inside Engineering to create an environment where Execution, Quality and Innovation thrive.
" Build and Mentor strong, result oriented Leaders and teams.
" Proven track record of software development experience, with a strong track record of leadership in technology strategy and product delivery.
" Proven experience in software engineering leadership roles, managing large engineering teams.
" Strong technical expertise on software architectures.
" Agile, DevOps culture and iterative development practices is a key transformation we are undertaking
" Sound technical depth - ability to deep-dive into technical architecture and design when needed to solve a complex problem.
" Proven leadership skills on building leadership talent pipeline thru coaching/mentoring, collaboration beyond boundaries, managing without authority and leading change.
" A mindset of continuous improvement.
" Solid understanding of the industry and the technology and market trends
Technical Experience:
" Extensive practical experience in developing Linux based distributed software applications
" Demonstrated experience in successfully employing Automation strategies across workflows & test phases etc.
" Proven skills in managing a high growth business and scaling engineering teams
Soft Skills:
" Ability to inspire teams to do the best work they can by instilling software ownership and craftsmanship
" Excellent communication and inter-personal skills - Clearly articulate technical concepts, designs & solutions
