Juniper is looking for a driven, results oriented leader to work across the extended enterprise and its key partners and customers to optimize Juniper’s Integrated Business Planning (“IBP”), Demand Planning and global Distribution and Customer operational planning processes. This leader will own World-Wide Operations Planning interactions with Product Line Management, Sales Ops, Distributor Channel and Key Customers and will lead the team of planners as they collaborate to develop near term and long term alignment across these partners and Juniper’s operational activities. The Director of IBP and Demand Planning will need to demonstrate a strong knowledge of planning processes and the systems that support them. In addition, key attributes of the individual we are looking for include excellent collaboration, team building and communication skills, detailed planning process and process improvement experience and a deep understanding of planning systems. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of building trusting relationships across many functional areas, both internally, and externally, to optimize customer/partner fulfillment experience, operational costs and revenue predictability. This leader will have a significant stake in systems strategy and systems optimization, therefore excellent knowledge of planning tools and processes is an absolute requirement.
Work collaboratively across both internal and external supply chain partners to ensure tight operational alignment and visibility.
Own the development and execution of strategic initiatives focused on driving demand forecasting, fulfillment predictability, flexibility planning, product lifecycle planning, channel/customer inventory management, and overall IBP processes
Drive change management for these operational processes through the broader stakeholder and partner ecosystem.
Own the IBP process and tightly partner with Supply Planning, Finance, Sales and the product teams to collaborate to maximize total supply chain performance and elevate key issues and recommend solutions.
Develop collaborative relationships, as well as tools and processes to best work across the stakeholder/partner base to optimize total efficiency for Juniper and its partners.
Act as primary Supply Chain point of contact for PLM and Sales Operations stakeholders
Participate in the strategic planning, development, integration, and implementation of technology applications to support global planning processes.

Analytical skills are essential for success. Candidates must operate with a disciplined approach to decision-making and setting planning strategies. This should incorporate a sophisticated ability to generate collaborative supply plans that maximize sales, cost and inventory performance.
Competent and knowledgeable in utilizing best in practice technology applications and databases. Possess a deep knowledge of planning systems and collaboration tools. Candidate should understand design, selection, integration and optimization of Planning specific systems and interaction with systems across the Supply Chain and the extended Value Chain.
Detailed knowledge and experience with various planning techniques.
Ability to participate with other members of the management team in an effective manner to identify, define and evaluate key strategic issues for the company and develop appropriate alternative solutions to meet strategic goals.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or related field preferred.
Minimum 12-15 years directly relevant work or related experience
Prior experience in networking products strongly preferred
