Reports to the VP, Global Marketing for Neuromodulation and primarily partners with franchise marketing leaders and regional marketing directors to lead the channel, content, brand, field marketing and communications strategy / execution across the Neuromodulation division. Partners with functional and channel partners to ensure appropriate positioning and messaging across many communications platforms and channels. Ensures programs and department resources are aligned with overall company goals and objectives. Executes through staff and external resources.
Influences direction of the Boston Scientific brand and partners with corporate on brand initiatives
Works globally with other regions to manage the Neuromodulation brand and channel efforts to ensure high levels of effectiveness and efficiency
Primary Neuromodulation liaison for internal channel partners and functions; such as digital marketing, public relations, corporate communications, shared marketing, social marketing, and tradeshows.
Runs quarterly business reviews with channel and functional partners to evaluate program impact and reassess objectives and outcomes; responsible for continuous improvement of the functional area
Lead strategies that take into consideration divisional/corporate objectives and drive business results
Define department structure/model that best meets business needs. Allocate resources to the highest business priorities.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external, serving as primary liaison on marketing programs
Communicate proactively to all levels of management and all stakeholders
Identify, partner with, and manage appropriate resources (i.e., vendor relationships, other internal departments, etc.) to ensure that programs meet objectives
Develop and maintain budgets while ensuring cost saving measures; accountable for implications on general business management
Keep abreast of industry standards and trends as related to responsibilities, and communicates information to the organization and leads communication channel innovation for Neuromodulation
Create a professional development plan with the partnership of direct supervisor
Ensure professional development plans are in place for direct reports
Drives measurement of functional programs and team performance
Recruit and retain high-quality staff. Coach and develop staff.
What we're looking for in you:
Bachelor degree required; MBA preferred
10+ years of marketing experience required including demonstrated ability to develop and execute fully integrated marketing strategy
Marketing communications experience in healthcare industry required; medical device preferred
Excellent leadership and coaching skills required
Proven ability to establish and execute a growth vision / strategy for a business
Demonstrated record of success
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

May direct and control the activities and budget of one or more functional areas, divisions, product groups, projects/programs and/or operations
Up to 30% travel domestic and global
