Director HCI/Cloud Lenovo Singapore

Leader who is responsible for development and execution of strategy for the HCI/Cloud practice covering the various partnership including Nutanix. You will focus on new technologies around Software Defined Infrastructure and Software Defined Storage based on Lenovo’s enterprise server innovation.You will introduce solutions through Lenovo and Lenovo Business Partners for an end-to-end client experience supported by Lenovo and augmented by Nutanix technical sales and support expertise.
This You will require close working with the country DCG teams and SMEs to ensure that this strategy is executed resulting in hyper growth in delivering on our strategy of “New IT”



Responsibilities:


• Lead the Hyper Converged Infrastructure ( HCI) and Cloud practice for Asia Pacific region as the centre of excellence leader for this solution.

• Develop a clear and executable strategy for AP with clear definition of GTM and RTM ( including channels)

• Help countries develop new accounts and penetrate new markets /organizations across Asia Pacific

• Supporting countries/regions with complex opportunities .

• Enablement of internal and partner teams.
• Work with products teams in AP & WW to align with GTM strategy developed

• Provide product feedback back to engineering to design complete business solutions.

• Develop business development market awareness and lead generation

• Support complex RFPs

• Assist in delivery of high quality solutions to clients in response to specific business requirements.

• Build and strengthen business relationship with top accounts and partners.

• Manage the overall business management system ( BMS) which includes status of forecast/pipeline for AP

• Ability to work collaboratively with employees within the sales function and across functions including Marketing, Sales Operations, System Engineering, and Product Development.

• Experience with target account selling, solution selling, and/or consultative sales techniques

• Aptitude for understanding how datacenter technology products and solutions solve business problems
• In-depth understanding of the competitive datacenter landscape.

• Experience in solution selling of cloud,HCI and Data Centre solutions
• Excellent track record

Position Requirements
Essential Requirements:

• Greater than 15 years of experience
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.


Essential Expertise Required :

• Successful experience working in both large and small/emerging company environments

• Successful track record of introducing new product(s) into the IT market, executing business development, ramping pipeline, and closing meaningful business.

• Successful track record of presenting and positioning IT primary storage and/or server virtualization offerings directly to end customers and via re-seller channels.
