As the Director of Digital Marketing & Consumer Analytics Technology, you will be responsible for building out a marketing and consumer analytics competency within the Converse Technology organization. You will partner with Converse Technology and parent company stakeholders to ensure that we are making the right investments in analytics capabilities, and partner with business stakeholders to derive maximum value from digital consumer insights. You will also recruit and lead a team of consumer analytics technology professionals. This role offers a unique and challenging opportunity to help build a strategic practice from the ground up and help the Converse brand achieve radical growth through insights into our consumers.
Responsibilities
Build a consumer and marketing analytics technology roadmap, ensuring that Converse is making the right investments in solutions and capabilities to drive our business (DMPs, DSPs, Marketing Attribution, Data Integration and Visualization, Advanced Analytics, etc.)
Ensure that business stakeholders have the right data to power consumer and marketing insights by working with vendors/partners across site analytics, tag management, 3rd party data providers, attribution and measurement systems, social media/unstructured data, and other data solutions.
Partner with the Analytics Center of Excellence Engineers, Platform Architects, and the Enterprise Architecture team to implement and deliver products and solutions.
Develop the plan for building Consumer and Marketing Analytics competencies in-house, both through recruiting and leading a team of analytics technology professionals as well as advising business stakeholders on their investment plans.
Lead the annual process of creating, maintaining, and implementing the Converse Consumer and Marketing Analytics Technology portfolio.
Evangelize Marketing and Consumer Analytics tools, platforms and capabilities to drive adoption within the business.
Maintain a focus on leading practices within the Consumer and Marketing Analytics technology space, ensuring that Converse is not only keeping pace but is at the forefront of the industry in analytics-driven marketing and consumer engagement.
Proven track record of:
Driving actionable consumer and customer marketing decisions through advanced analytics and technology
Thinking and planning strategically, with ability to communicate the strategy to a large organization
Delivering complex, cross functional projects enabling the business
Leadership capability, including ability to motivate and mentor others
Pulling a diverse group of individuals with different goals together and facilitating productive discussions and building consensus
Qualifications
Strong skills in team leadership and building positive business partner relationships
Strong networking skills and ability to work across multiple organizations to accomplish diverse goals
Demonstrated ability to influence critical business outcomes in a matrix based, global environment
Excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills to effectively communicate with both business and technical IT teams
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
Ability to work with onshore/offshore teams, and communicate using virtual communication tools (phone, conferencing, online meeting)
