Leads the business development efforts for Enterprise Application support and Professional Services by supporting field endeavors and developing new relationships. This role will be responsible for working with Applications operational leads to manage human resource level to support Enterprise Application engagements and exceed enterprise sales targets. This position has co-responsibility for overall application service delivery strategy and application services revenue target, as well as collaborating closely with the Sales Leaders to assist in attainment of overall sales quota.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITY:
Strong knowledge of Rackspace values, objectives and strategies. Significant experience in SAP ECC, SAP HANA, Oracle EBS and related BI applications. Excellent organizational, solution engineering, business consulting, and decision making skills. JOB COMPLEXITY:
Develop and oversee SAP application services sales strategies and solutions, service delivery, cross-functional team engagement, and staff management. Recruit, hire, train, develop, motivate, and coach the Application Professional Services team. Create strategic plans to grow Rackspace’s Application practice, platform and services business in alignment with customer needs and partner capabilities. Develop strong, positive relationships with the Rackspace Sales, Marketing, Channel, Service Delivery and Operations Teams. Establish and implement performance measurements designed to track and report progress against the Rackspace Enterprise applications sales strategy. Oversee client workshop and delivery activity and participate as needed to help qualify pursuit opportunities, influence strategy, and ensure customer satisfaction. Develop industry best practices, methodology, and consulting capabilities into a mature, enterprise-class model. Facilitate application of lessons learned and best practices across engagements to minimize risk and maximize value to the customer. Work with operational staff as it relates to initiatives that affect the Enterprise applications Professional Services Teams. Interface with internal teams by working with new product initiatives to ensure completeness and relevance to customer requirements. Represent Rackspace at conferences, industry, and marketing events as needed. Provide FANATICAL support by driving the value of Rackspace SAP Application Services to both potential and existing Rackspace customers and internal sales teams alike. Responsible for adhering to company security policies and procedure as directed.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, and a minimum of 15 years of progressively responsible SAP and/or Oracle applications consulting, and project management experience required, including a minimum of 8 years of people management experience. A minimum of 3 years of experience at the director level, contributing to and implementing strategy across a function. Demonstrated success meeting and exceeding revenue goals. Experience leading large projects or programs. High school diploma or equivalent required.
