Director Change Management Lowe's Companies Mooresville

The primary purpose of this role is to use the change management framework to maximize the realization of Lowe's business strategies. This includes responsibility for advising senior leadership, training and coaching other practitioners, recognizing systematic patterns or risks in delivery, and leading implementation of organization-wide change efforts.
Leads change implementation efforts on strategic initiatives, specifically applying a structured change management approach
Develops a change management strategy based on details of the necessary change and analysis of impact of the changes to employees
Guides change practitioners on how to approach change management effectively, including readiness assessments, future state drivers, results evaluation, and resistance mitigation
Develops change communication strategies that use multiple communication vehicles, are level appropriate, and are carefully timed for optimal impact
Counsels leaders on change effectiveness, including using contingency plans to aid in adoption
Acts as a trusted adviser to executives who are change sponsors by providing objective perspectives on the organization and sponsor's ability to realize desired change
Maintains, builds, and teaches change methodology and related tools
Seeks knowledge of current practices in the industry to ensure Lowe's adapts over time
Refines Lowe's change management methodology to adapt to specific needs over time

Required Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Psychology, Education, or other Business-related area
5-7 years of progressive business or client consulting experience with an emphasis in strategy, process reengineering and change management, or demonstrated line management proficiency
Expert skills related to change management and project management
Expert understanding of how people go through a change and the change process
Excellent written and verbal communications
Expert facilitation, presentation, training, organization, and planning skills
Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a highly collaborative environment
Demonstrated ability to navigate challenging and ambiguous situations with people or businesses
Preferred Experience:

Master’s Degree in in Psychology, Education, or an MBA
Prosci Change Management Certification
