Responsibilities:

• Lead multiple engagements delivering billable client work with automotive clients.

• Develop reusable consulting methodologies, and tools and collateral

• Provide thought leadership, white papers, and industry expertise while contributing to strengthening the Automotive Consulting Practice

• Help mentor and develop junior level consultants to improve quality of engagements and strengthen the overall practice

• Navigate Cognizant’s organization to build a network and form virtual teams which will assist in selling and delivering engagements with expertise in the various multichannel capabilities (e.g. social, mobile, etc.)

• Build account-specific consulting plans for various accounts

• Support pre-sales activities such as proposal/, SOW writing, and client presentations

• Identify up-selling opportunities within current clients and continue to build relationships and drive value within existing accounts

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in management consulting with direct experience supporting and leading engagements in the automotive industry; In-industry experience at an automotive company is a strong plus.

• Experience in supply chain, manufacturing, production, planning, procurement, dealer systems, part systems, warranty systems accessories, parts, warranties, channels and/or forecasting demand planning

• Experience in Automotive industry business models, industry standards, processes, practices, organizations, methods, and alternatives required

• Experience with strategic and tactical development, including business process integration and measurement of loyalty programs for automotive industry.

• Experience in business development, client relationship management and pre-sales support

• Ability to analyze and share recommendations to improve/modify existing processes / systems for clients

• Experience with client interaction by identifying client's priority needs for service and support

• The ability to manage teams of consultants and work with cross functional and client facing teams

• Knowledge of process flows, systems and procedures which aids analysis and recommendations for solution offerings to exploit new business opportunities

• Advanced practical knowledge of business processes

• Strong written communication and presentation skills

• Master's Degree in Business/Management highly preferred, Bachelor’s Degree required.
