Programme Director Change Management Delivery HSBC Hong Kong

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Programme Director, Change Management and Delivery - Global Distribution and Transfer Agency.

Principal responsibilities
Lead the Global Distribution and Transfer Agency (GDTA) change and associated client on-boarding programmes onto GDTA platform
Overall accountability of project and programme management relationships with stakeholders in Asia and globally
Lead the design and product development enhancements in conjunction with the Global Transfer Agency Platform (GTAP) platform lead, HSBC Securities Services (HSS) IT, vendor and clients
Manage all build requirements, scheduling, prioritisation, and interdependencies whilst ensuring all requirements are fit for purpose and will meet the needs of the client and HSS business users
Represent and manage the GDTA change build out and client on-boarding plan to deliver a number of complex changes needed onto GTAP platform. Changes will also be expected across components of the architecture supported by HSS IT and wider Change Management and Delivery platform teams
Lead the team to create and execute test scripts for existing defects, system enhancements and new system functionality
Guide project team members with the development of project documentation, and compiling of data and statistics
Lead the team for client take-on, user acceptance testing and model office testing
Provide subject matter expertise on GDTA markets and services propositions and/or Oracle Flexcube Investor Services (FCIS) vendor platform, and validate solution design, review and approve Business Requirement Document (BRD) and Functional Requirement Document (FRD)
Continuously drive ways of improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the change process and in particular, project management processes

Qualifications

Requirements
Proven ability in successfully designing and implementing Transfer Agency solutions to meet complex business requirements
Detailed knowledge and managerial experience in the Transfer Agency / securities services business
Recognised project / programme management qualification (PRINCE 2 Practitioner, PMP)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of producing clear, unambiguous status reports and interacting positively with senior business management, department heads and vendors
Ability to understand and use complex systems and take a logical and constructive approach to investigating, communicating and resolving accounting / system problems and challenges that arise within projects
Experience of building and maintaining excellent relationships when dealing directly with external clients and third parties
Track record for successfully completing business change projects for Transfer Agency platforms
Ability to build consensus at all levels within the organisation and build strong relationships with other functions and business units, and influence senior managers
Ability to plan and organise workload when working to tight deadlines and maintain a clear head when faced with multiple conflicting priorities
Must be able to work autonomously, plan strategically, be self-motivated and exhibit a “can-do” attitude
