Director Consultant Relations FIS New York

The Manager/Director of Consultant Relations will be responsible for the oversight of the consultant relations effort across North America supporting the Banking & Payments and Institutional & Wholesale sales team and businesses.

Primary Responsibilities:

Strengthens the organization’s relationships with key consultants by developing and executing proactive, creative and ongoing contact.
Focuses on increasing and expanding relationships with key national and regional consultants.
Gathers broad and specific market intelligence and communicates it in a timely manner to sales, business and senior leadership.
Develops business plans for each consulting firm including a brief overview of each firms exposure with FIS, organizational structure & decision makers across field consultants and research.
Works closely with marketing and sales to translate the needs offeedback from the consultant community to the investment team, product positioning, competitive analysis and messaging.

Accountabilities and Performance Measures:

Track and communicate FIS sales results against key priority consultants
Improve FIS win rates with priority consultants
Partner and coach sales team members on the behaviors, strategies and tactics of influential consultant firms
Early identification and quantification of revenue risk to FIS due to consultant engagement
Implementation of new and creative engagement strategies that differentiate FIS and its solutions as the partner of choice in the consultant and client community
Job Requirements:

Prior experience working with consultants.
Strong knowledge of the financial services and FinTech industry.
Experience in consultant relations, sales or relationship management experience.
Must have excellent sales skills and in-depth product knowledge.
Strong communication and presentation skills required, as well as ability to work well with a variety of people at all levels of an organization.
Understanding of overall financial services industry and a demonstrated ability to articulate and communicate within the consultant community.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to work as a team player across all channels, levels and divisions of a large global organization.
