The Business Operations Director is part of the Integrated Workplace Services (IWS) leadership team within WDC. The IWS team develops, implements, and operates the following workplace services:
Employee Amenities: Food, Fitness, Child Development, and Life Services
Business Service: Travel, Meeting & Events, Mail/Package/Shipping, Transportation &
Facilities Management: Maintenance, Landscaping & Custodial
Manage WHQ Integrated Workplace Services segments: Employee Amenities, Business Services and Facilities Management (includes Fitness, Food, Child Development, Life Services, Transportation, Travel, Meeting & Events, Mail & Package, Reception, Maintenance, Landscaping & Custodial). The scope of the WHQ portfolio is >14,000 employees, across 80 buildings, representing >4.5million square feet.
Lead development and implementation of IWS services design for all WHQ construction projects (renovations, refits and relocations), using WD+C’s Global Delivery Framework (GDF) methodology.
Lead, coach, drive and inspire WHQ IWS teams. The WHQ team is WD+C largest team with nearly 400 team members .
Develop and maintain relationships with and influence key business partners, including WHQ executives, HR, Comms, Technology and Security.
Work collaboratively with WD+C IWS Global Teams and across WD+C functions to help maintain alignment for enhancing the employee experience and productivity thru best in class delivery models.
Manage relationships and performance of external Strategic Partners (vendors) who deliver and operate services for WHQ locations
Create a global employee services network, including standards, best practices and success metrics
Qualifications
BA or BS required; preferred focus on Facilities/Business Management or Hospitality
10+ years of experience desired in Facilities Management or Hospitality industries
Project Management experience. Certification preferred.
Process improvement experience (Six Sigma, Lean methodology etc)
Analytics tools and reporting experience (Tableau, Smartforms, etc)
Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills - - ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines, groups, and geographies
Strong oral and written communications skills, including meeting facilitation and ability to make persuasive presentations to senior management
