The Google for Education team helps educational institutions and government agencies discover the wonders of 'the cloud' and work smarter through G Suite, Classroom, Chromebooks, Cloud Platform and other Google products and services. In this role, you'll lead a team who design and implement solutions with custom features, security and support for clients and partner organizations -- all with Google's philosophy of innovation and ease of use in mind.
Lead and build North American Sales teams to enable them to effectively present Google for Education solutiond to schools and universities.
Define and execute on regional and state-level engagement strategy; drive continued growth in close collaboration with Marketing teams.
Develop and strengthen relationships at national and state level, with large school districts across the US and Canada, and with key distribution partners.
Collaborate with Programs teams to bring professional development and broad transformation management support to large scale implementations, ensuring they lead to successful educational outcomes.
Collaborate with the Product and Solutions teams to define and commercialize our next generation of products and features, across devices (Chromebooks and tablets), G Suite (including Classroom), Google Cloud Platform and content.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
Experience in presenting products to educational institutions and governments in international markets.
Preferred qualifications:
MBA degree.
10 years of relevant work experience, with 4 years of experience presenting products to educational institutions within an internet, device manufacturer or a PC original equipment manufacturing (OEM) company.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and work-streams in a fast paced environment.
Ability to engage at all levels of the organization, both internally and externally. Excellent verbal communication, analytical and problem solving skills.
Effective partnering and collaboration skills, with the ability to drive action in a cross-functional and relationship based organization.
