You will be empowered to lead and manage a team, leading the development of the sub regional marketing growth strategy by directing and executing marketing efforts to target customers. You will also lead commercialization of regional strategic big-investment products and technologies in the sub region while helping in delivering financial targets.

Drives the development of Market Strategy for Sub Region: Defines business development opportunities and specific needs for the sub-region through engagement with sales and BU’s at Regional and Country level. Develop and implement Sub-Regional Segment Strategies in partnership with local and regional technical teams. Commercializes innovations and products through ensuring country and customer relevance for country opportunities as defined in the marketing plan. (Year marketing calendar).
Direct and executes marketing efforts to target customers: Proposes potential targets and build business case to regional segment. Ensures development and delivery of differentiated marketing programs and ensure adapted to sub-region. Owns the opportunity pipeline of respective sub-region

Lead commercialization of global strategic big-investment products and technologies: Plays an active role in planning, ensuring sales buy in and securing the required technical support. Ensures appropriate commercial resources are prepared to execute business development with targeted customers. Provides sub-regional pricing guidelines for global strategic investment products/technologies in coordination with segments.

Help deliver assigned segment financial targets (sales, gross margin): Participate in Sales budgeting process. Partner with pricing to develop and implements the sub regional segment pricing strategy (including category guidelines on margins)

Lead, manage and develop regional segment marketing staff: Actively recruit skilled staff and build a culture of teamwork and collaboration Conduct ongoing performance evaluations and development discussions to create a results orientation mentality, provide career growth opportunities and build bench strength

Your professional profile includes:
University degree in Marketing.
10+ years’ experience in Flavours or related industry, with exposure to Food & Beverage consumer packaged goods companies
Previous experience in a multi-national environment
Experience with working with people from technical and innovation related backgrounds
Sales or B2B Marketing with a strong know how of B2C Marketing in an international environment

Nice to have:
Solid understanding of marketing strategy and principles, including brand building and value propositions
Creative skills and the ability to build strong promotion campaigns to build reputation with customers and project pipelines
Innovation management capabilities
Ability to partner with other functions to analyze business performance, identify issues and define opportunities for growth
Ability to work effectively in a matrix environment, diplomatic and influencing
Comfortable interacting with diversity of groups, both functionally and geographically
