Skava is looking for a strong sales leader with experience in selling enterprise e-commerce solutions to IR Top 500 retailers and Fortune 500 businesses. The ideal candidate will have a strong technology background and hands-on experience working in a fast-paced startup environment to deliver exceptional sales results.
About you:
7-10 years of sales experience in the high tech industry in selling technology products and services, ideally in the e-commerce ecosystem
Must demonstrate senior level consultative selling and closing skills, and have experience working with C and VP level Executives of Fortune 500 retailers
Experience in implementing best practices sales methodologies and techniques in a startup environment and scaling up to larger sales teams
Appointment setting experience
Excellent communication (written, oral) and presentation skills
Must have services/agency experience
Solutions oriented - you should be able to think quick on your feet and provide solutions/recommendations on the fly
About the role:
Work with senior leadership to define sales strategy, revenue targets and customer acquisition goals and then partner with technology, marketing, account services and finance teams to effectively execute on the sales plan
Responsible for the full lifecycle of sales - including prospecting, cold calling, lead qualification, pitching, presenting, providing demos and POCs, preparing proposals/RFPs, negotiating and closing deals.
Use Salesforce diligently to maintain a full record of all sales activity and generate reports for stakeholders providing visibility to the sales pipeline.
Attend trade shows, conferences, and networking events to generate new leads. Work with marketing and technology teams to set up webinars and create white-papers to educate prospective customers.
Heavy travel - up to 80%
