With the level of company change, and transformation aligned to the company’s strategy, Microsoft IT is looking to recruit individuals who have the business acumen, skills, capabilities and passion for driving both business and IT change, understanding and enabling others, dealing with ambiguity, and accelerating the company’s transformation.
You will be the leader of an international team of Field Business Program Managers who are responsible for working with Corporate and Field stakeholders on our insights, landing, and adoption services for a particular set of business capabilities and corresponding IT supported applications, processes, and business intelligence. Examples of the portfolio your team leads in partnership with the corporate business owners and IT line of business engineering teams could include pipeline management, forecasting, incentive compensation, pricing, professional services resource management, marketing event management, and many more such examples. Specifically, in partnership with our corporate stakeholders, your team will drive the identification, assessment, and prioritization of field end user needs around processes and tools, drive end user engagement in the validation of proposed solutions as they are designed and developed by fellow IT engineering teams, drive deployment and adoption activities such as end to end change management re: process gap analysis, communications, and training, and drive post launch adoption efforts to identify value realization and satisfaction improvement opportunities, drive field change requests, and enable the resolution of priority escalations.
This role will provide you with the ability to lead, manage, and partner with global teams, work across business and IT leaders, tap into your depth and breadth of business acumen, leverage your strengths in being a true trusted advisor, as well as exercise your change management skillset. You’ll need to be able to illustrate your key leadership level competencies at the heart of Microsoft professions including collaboration, judgment, adaptability, drive for results, and obsessing over our customers often in times in ambiguous situations and environments.
Building and maintaining close partnerships to the point of trusted advisor status with our IT and corporate business peer groups, related to the understanding of end users in our subsidiaries as well as optimizing our delivery and landing efforts to enable the intended business value outcomes of IT line of business solutions, is key for the role to be successful. As well, teamwork and collaboration across peer IT teams including experience specialists, field solution managers, PMs, readiness leads, and our Field business partner leads, is critical to the success of the role especially as these peer teams have specialist skills to enable our ability to influence IT roadmaps, drive effective global landing plans, and enable adoption of IT solutions.

· Field/subsidiary/business experience and deep understanding such as at least one of Microsoft’s Global Sales & Marketing Operations customer segment business models from a role, process, application, and information perspective.

Basic Qualifications:
· Minimum of 5 years of leadership and management experience
· Bachelor's Degree
· Willingness to travel internationally on at least a quarterly basis

· Executive maturity and presence with proven capabilities in being a trusted advisor to key stakeholders
· Proven ability to manage work and teams across multiple time zones and cultures with a track record of exceptional employee health results for your teams (within Microsoft: high WHI).
· 10+ years of relevant business experience in change management, business analyst, capability management, sales/marketing/services operations, or other professional services roles
· Demonstrated experience working with and/or in business or IT leadership teams to drive enablement of new capabilities and simplification of existing processes or tools
· Strong teaming background, interpersonal skills, and communication skills
· Business degree or equivalent business experience; MBA or equivalent highly preferred.
Willingness to travel internationally on at least a quarterly basis
