An experienced creative thinker who has lead responsibility for delivering innovative and compelling creative solutions that meet requirements outlined in Apple’s creative briefs. Responsible for strategic planning and executing integrated campaigns by overseeing internal creative staff, outside directors, production staff and post production to ensure delivery of the best work possible.
Responsible for leading the successful creation and production of digital, film, video, social, and retail and channel solutions in creative collaboration with the group’s ECD, creative writer partner, senior producers and product managers. Plans and directs all aspects of campaigns and serves as an integral leader of the creative team.

Has a strong knowledge of and proven experience in the creative development process. Consistently delivers superior campaigns. Effectively scales solutions in accordance with project constraints and parameters.

Manages larger groups and their professional development. Including; provides creative direction and critique across a large multidisciplinary creative group. Regularly reviews the work of direct reports and serves as a role model and mentor in developing their growth within the team.

Accountable for the work being on target and ensuring it matches Apple business direction. Takes an active role in understanding and shaping the big picture as it relates to Apple’s place in the world.

Key Qualifications

A minimum of 10-12 years relevant experience [preferably agency], including a minimum of 5 years management experience with increasing responsibility.
Experience in delivering film, and video ideas across retail environments, events, the web, on device, and television.
Solid creative expertise in developing solutions in a variety of campaigns, across a broad range of problems and deliverables, including advertising, retail, channel, interactive, and social media. (Copywriting or Art Direction experience essential.)
In depth knowledge of all steps required in the creative development process, including effectively and efficiently staffing projects, providing clear communication and creative direction, giving timely and helpful feedback to improve creative solutions. Produce all work cost effectively and on schedule.
Proven Skills and Abilities
Expert ability to develop well-conceived innovative creative work that implements a brand strategy.
Significant experience with, social, retail, film, video, and interactive projects utilizing innovative ideas-led techniques and demonstrating a wide range of skills.
Ability to effectively lead and manage internal creative staff members, vendors, and freelancers. Nurturing their growth and providing appropriate guidance and mentorship.
Proven project management skills, especially in planning, staffing and directing multiple complex, long-term creative projects that deliver the highest caliber work on time.
Excellent conceptual and problem solving skills.
Excellent copywriting skills accompanied by the ability to guide and evaluate, and if necessary, redirect creative development.
Exemplary experience in directing photo and film shoots. From creative concept to final deliverable
Ability to communicate effectively with creative and project management staff, engendering leadership, trust and respect.
Expert presentation skills that foster and develop existing and new relationships
Excellent written and oral skills.
A 'second nature' comprehension of technology and an ability to synthesize complex and varied information into easy-to-understand visual language.

Description

Accountable for successful execution of integrated campaigns, by leading internal creative staff, freelancers, and directors, DPs and writers as needed.

Executes high quality work on assigned projects in a variety of media. Regularly reviews creative work with the Creative Directors to get feedback on direction, and to ensure the work is aligned with other activities within Apple’s creative group.

Fully accountable for monitoring personal and creative team’s progress against schedules on assigned projects.

Relied upon to conceive and lead the development of high quality creative work that pushes the Apple brand forward.

Conducts persuasive creative presentations to executive staff members within the company.

Education

BA or BS degree
